The M8 from PreciPoint can also be called the smartphone for digital microscopy and serves as a dual microscope and scanner, with all functions accessible via a touchscreen computer - which makes it a real digital microscope.
You navigate and zoom through the specimens on the touchscreen with a tap of your finger. Since everything is automated and digitized, there is no need for eyepieces or manual focusing. Use a touchscreen computer, tablet or smartphone and literally examine the sample with your own hands.
The live stitching function immediately combines several images, which were recorded in the resolution of the lens, into a single full image.
In a matter of seconds, you have an overview of the entire slide and an astonishingly large field of view. The focusing and brightness correction are carried out automatically with PreciPoint's M8 in order to generate a high-resolution image.
